Discover the thrilling flavours of Hong Kong
Located on the south-eastern coast of China, bordering Guangdong Province, Hong Kong packs an astonishing 7 million people into just 1,103 square kilometers. For a Canadian perspective, consider this: Our smallest province, Prince Edward Island, is 5,660 square km in size with a population of 179,280 residents. While PEI is known for lobster, potatoes and Anne of Green Gables, Hong Kong is celebrated for its rich mix of Cantonese flavours, street food delights, and international influences.

“It’s so fun to bite into something and discover new flavours. I haven’t had this much fun cooking in a long time.” — Chef Jordana Rebner
With only 48 hours to spare in one of Asia’s busiest cities, Jordana and her team hit the ground running—and hungry—on a mission to soak up as much hearty, authentic Cantonese cuisine (and fun) as possible. They kicked things off with a trendy, hands-on cooking class where they mastered the art of traditional dumplings. From there, it was a whirlwind of bites, bouncing between buzzing street food stalls and Michelin-starred hotspots, tasting the best Hong Kong has to offer while diving deep into the rich world of local flavour.
In just two days, Hong Kong served up a memorable journey packed with fun, flavour, and culture.
