Description
Shrimp and garlic will always love each other—just give them a sprinkle of chili flakes to rekindle the spark. With lemony buttered pasta and a quick side salad, supper is quick and low cost.

285g Shrimp (BAP-certified)
1 Lemon
3 Garlic cloves
120g Baby greens (lettuce mix, baby spinach, kale or arugula)
140g Orzo
1g Chili flakes
10g Garlic & Sweet Pepper spices (salt, garlic, sugar, red pepper bell, vinegar powder, yeast extract, green pepper bell, canola oil, paprika, cellulose, turmeric, Cayenne pepper, citric acid)

Recipe Instructions

Step 1: Boil the orzo
- Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the orzo and boil, 9 to 10 min., until just tender.
- Drain and rinse.
- Return to the pot and toss with 2 tbsp butter (double for 4 portions) to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Mise en place
- Meanwhile, mince the garlic.
- Zest and juice the lemon.

Step 3: Cook & coat the shrimp
- Pat the shrimp dry (remove the shells from the tails if desired); season with the spices and S&P.
- In a large pan (non-stick if possible), heat a drizzle of oil on medium.
- Add the garlic and chili flakes (add ½ for medium spicy). Sauté, 30 sec. to 1 min., until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp* and cook, 1 to 2 min. per side, until opaque and cooked through.
- Off the heat, add ½ the lemon juice; toss well.
- Tilapia: 2 to 3 min. per side.

Step 4: Make the salad
- In a medium bowl, whisk the remaining lemon juice, 2 tbsp olive oil (double for 4 portions) and S&P.
- Add the baby greens; toss well.

Step 5: Finish & serve
- To the pot of orzo, add ½ the lemon zest; stir well.
- Divide the orzo between your plates.
- Top with the shrimp and sauce.
- Garnish with the remaining lemon zest.
- Serve the salad on the side. Bon appétit!
