Permission granted to eat with your hands. These tacos evoke Southwestern spirit with warm spicing, meaty portions and sharp, crisp contrasts—all loaded onto wheat tortillas. As it browns in the pan, you’ll treat the ground beef to our tantalizing Lime & Chili Spritz, a seasoning mix that’s not too hot yet rich with sunny spices. (Sprinkle some more into yogurt for a quick-made condiment.) Complete the scene with grated Monterey Jack cheese and sliced radishes, lettuce and tomatoes. Now let the family pick it up from there!

Cook the beef
Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil on medium-high. Add the beef*; season with ¾ of the spices and S&P. Cook, breaking up the meat, 4 to 6 min., until cooked through.

Warm the tortillas
While the beef cooks, stack and tightly wrap the tortillas in a large piece of foil. Warm directly on an oven rack, 6 to 8 min., until heated through. Keep wrapped until ready to serve.

Mise en place
While the beef continues to cook and the tortillas warm, halve the lettuce lengthwise, discarding the root end; thinly slice crosswise into ribbons. Thinly slice the radishes. Small-dice the tomatoes. To the container of yogurt, add the remaining spices and 1 tbsp water; season with S&P and stir well.

Plate your dish
Divide the tortillas between your plates. Top with the beef and cheese. Garnish with the lettuce, radishes and tomatoes. Drizzle the spiced yogurt on top. Bon appétit!
