And according to findings of a survey conducted by Goodfood and Bumble from Oct. 27 to Nov. 1, 2023 with a sample of 1,509 Canadians online who are members of the Angus Reid Forum, a home-cooked dinner could be the key to taking your third date from spooning to forking (sorry, we couldn’t resist that one) and beyond (long-lasting love at first bite, perhaps?). In fact, nearly 40% of Canadian respondents (ages 18-54) are comfortable hosting or going over to their date’s house on the third date to enjoy a home-cooked meal.
But, what if you’re not much of a cook? Well, here’s a stat that could inspire you to start discovering your inner chef asap: nearly 70% of 18-34 year old respondents reported that it’s important for their date to know how to cook.
